Nov 28, 2000	Assisted in a New York State-Department of Environmental Conservation search for a lost bear hunter near Hunter Mountain, NY who had been missing since Saturday, Nov 25. The hunter's body was found Tuesday afternoon. (Daily Freeman article)
Oct 28, 2000	While covering for West Milford Search and Rescue, responded Saturday morning to West Milford, NJ to assist the West Milford Police Department in a search for an 16 year old diabetic. The teen was found that morning.
Sep 1, 2000	Responded Friday afternoon to Woodcliff Lake, NJ to assist the Woodcliff Lake Police Department in a search for an 16 year old girl missing since Wednesday. The search was cancelled when it was verified that she took a train to New Orleans.
Jul 23-24, 2000	Responded Sunday night to Chester Township, NJ to assist in a search for an Alzheimer patient missing since the morning. The 78 year old man was found Monday around Noon.
Jul 17, 2000	Responded to West Orange, NJ to assist in a search for an Alzheimer patient missing since Friday night. The 66 year old man was found around 2:00PM.
Apr 9, 2000	While enroute to a drill, NJSAR assisted the Ringwood, NJ Police, Fire, and Ambulance departments in a low angle rescue of a driver of a car that had gone down an embankment and landed on its side during the suprise April snowstorm.
Jan 23, 2000	NJSAR responded to Montgomery Township, NJ for a search for a 25 yr old male. Over 100 searchers were involved in the search that covered parts of Somerset and Mercer Counties.
