NJSAR in cooperation with NJ DEP Parks and Foresty northern regional office, hosts mutual aid drill in Norvin Green State Forest with response by West Milford SAR team, North Jersey SAR and NJ State Park rangers.

NJSAR put on standby for possible response to relieve initial responders if search went on to additional operational period. NYC resident female out all night with her dog after going for a hike in late afternoon. Found alive but VERY cold by other search team about 0830.

Mutual aid to East Penn Mountaineers. Approx 35 yr old mentally challenged woman found alive in a corn field. approx 24 hours after last seen. Lake Wallenpaupack PA vicinity.

Responded to Pine Island, NY to assist the Town of Warwick Police Department in a search for a 78 year old man missing since the 7th. The victim was found around 8:30AM by members of NJ SAR and North Jersey Search and Rescue.

Responded to Woodcliff Lake to assist the Woodcliff Lake Police Department in a search for a woman in her 20s lost near the Hilton Hotel on Tice Boulevard. The woman was found around 11:45PM by two member of NJ SAR as she walked along the edge of a wooded area near the hotel. |
